This styled shoot was a dream to create. We had a submission after our model call and we read a story of a husband and wife who got married quickly and never got the chance to have the wedding they really wanted. Their love story was really touching and we couldn't help but fall in love with their submission. All of the vendors jumped at the chance to plan a REAL wedding for them! This shoot quickly turned into the real life husband and wife's dream wedding--minus the guests. We had everything from the altar, a head table, the cake cutting, and we topped the night off with champagne bottle popping and a first dance for the lovely couple.
Second to the love, this shoot was all about the details! The shoot was located at a run down glass factory. The golden hour sunlight was divine! We had mapped out everything a wedding would have, and went crazy styling it. We even included the couple's get away car--an old vintage bicycle! Starting with the altar, Not Too Shabby Boutique brought these gorgeous antique doors and framed the altar space. Draping was added to give it a soft touch--because there's not a drape that blows in the wind that we don't like!
For their sweetheart table, we chose a satin navy table cloth and arranged gold and table dressings on top. The florist finished the table off with a tall mercury candelabra draping with hydrangeas, roses, peonies, and eucalyptus.
W Rentals & Events brought in their gorgeous buffet table and dressed it with desserts galore! We had a beautiful three tiered semi-naked cake that sat as the centerpiece and was styled with colorful fruits and other scrumptious treats!
Although this started as a 'styled shoot' it turned out to be one of the most romantic weddings I have ever been to. The bride and groom were beyond grateful The love that was shared throughout the day was so touching and I think all of us small business owners walked away with memories of why we even started our wedding businesses in the first place.
